Makoto Ito rides the train to and from school every day. However, at the beginning of his second term, he falls in love with a beautiful girl that also rides the train. Unfortunately, she barely knows of his existence. Her name is Kotonoha Katsura, and though they attend the same school, they are not in the same class. In an attempt to catch her eye, Makoto enlists the aid of a close female friend of his: Sekai Saionji. She helps him, despite the fact that she--unbeknownst to Makoto--is in love with him. Thus the three are bound in a love triangle of life changing proportions.

I agree... I didn't like the morbid ending but still...

It was really unexpected...

this game was based on a eroge game....

the game has 27 ... as i remember 27 endings.... with 3 or 4 morbid endings... and some nuetral ending and the rest happy endings..

in the manga... only one died.. kotonoha was killed by saionji...

probably the ending from the anime came from the gory endings in the game..

fact from the game.. the makoto touched all the female characters.... kotonoha's little sister as well... and even SETSUNA!!...his one lucky bastard.. (well except for the extras....)

I am a really disappointed after watching this... People kept saying this is a good Anime but after watching it, it made me wanna kill those who suggested it@

yeah im disappointed too... after the episode makoto says.. "DAting kotonoha ... is tiring"

Well, I didn't really like this at first because I don't really like romance anime turning into gory anime...

But it's not that bad... a little below average i guess...
